FOR LONGEST BALLOT
September 18, 2019 – Regina, Saskatchewan – The Rhinoceros Party of Canada and Kieran Szuchewycz announced it’s plan to enter the World Reccord Book with the longest ballot papers in history. Targeting Conservative leader Andrew Scheer, the Rhino Party is calling on all democracy-loving Canadians to help make this election more spectacular, by standing for election and offering the lucky citizens of Regina-Qu’Appelle riding the longest ballots in history.
“Make Democracy Longer” is the new Slogan
“Lot of Canadians don’t want to hear about politics. They find it boring, uninteresting” explains Sébastien CoRhino, Leader of the Rhinos. “I want to prove them wrong. Elections are fun. Politics is nice. Democracy is useful. Politicians are good. This is why we’ll run the longuest ballot ever in this riding! We think we can put about a hundred candidates on the ballot” explains CoRhino.
Kieran adds : “Standing for election is a Charter right granted to all Canadians, but before today ordinary Canadians had no good reason to utilize it. Now, citizens from all over the country can work together to make our democracy longer!”
